Comparing Galaxy A7 (2018) vs A7 (2017) - Size & Design
September 20, 2018 - Samsung announces the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018). A new phone in the A series, an updated version of the A7 that was released on January 2017.
Here is an image showing the relative size difference between the new Galaxy A7 (2018) and the older A7 (2017) model.
The new Galaxy A7 (2018) looks completely different than its predecessor. It boasts a slightly bigger display (6-inch vs 5.70-inch), less rounded corners, slimmer top, and bottom bezels and although it's 3mm taller than the A7 (2017) model, it's 0.8mm narrower and 0.4mm thinner than the A6 (2017).
It's definitely a sleeker and more modern-looking smartphone. Looking at the back we can see a three-camera setup (24MP AF F1.7 / Ultra-wide 8MP F2.4 / Depth camera 5MP F2.2), compared to the A7 (2017) that sports a single 16 MP, f/1.9 27mm rear-facing camera.
I really like the design of the A7 (2018), it looks really modern. The phone comes in four back design colors, including blue, black, gold and pink, all look really nice in my opinion.
